Ashtanga, a traditional lineage of yoga, is individualised to your needs and development. No prior experience of yoga or level of fitness is required. Practitioners arrive and begin a practice at their own pace, guided by a teacher who suggests increasing the number and difficulty of poses over time. 

​

Initial sessions will be spent working out a suitable practice. A flowing practice is surprisingly fast to learn and is adjusted week to week based on energy levels and the ebb and flow of daily life. 

​

A teacher is always present and able to guide you in your practice, but the silence in an ashtanga room is striking and allows a deeper internal conversation between mind and body to emerge.
